Who We Are
The data controller is Robot-M Ltd, trading as Triga Films, 310 Kemp House, 152-160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Email: [email protected].
This notice applies to casting applicants using the Triga Films casting section at /casting/. It is separate from the main Privacy Policy for members and customers.
What Data We Collect
Stage 1 collects your name, date of birth, age confirmation, location, physical details, content preferences, contact details, portfolio/social links where supplied, a headshot and a full-length clothed photo.
Stage 2 is invitation-only and may collect an identity document, additional photos, legal declarations, privacy consent, agreement to casting terms and agreement to the model release.
Some casting data may relate to sex life, sexual preferences or adult performance interests and may be special category data under UK GDPR Article 9.
Lawful Basis For Processing
We process casting application data on the basis of consent, explicit consent where special category data is involved, and legitimate interests where necessary for internal casting assessment, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting [email protected]. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before the withdrawal.
How We Use Your Data
We use casting data to assess suitability, verify age and identity where an application progresses, contact you about the application, maintain compliance records, and connect a successful application to later production-specific documents.
Your application images and identity documents are not published. A low-resolution headshot thumbnail may be included in an internal casting review notification to authorised Triga Films staff. Full images remain protected behind authenticated admin access.
Who We Share Data With
Application data is shared only with authorised Triga Films casting and production staff where necessary. We do not sell application data or share it with third-party marketing companies.
How Long We Keep Your Data
Stage 1 rejected or timed-out applications are scheduled for deletion within 30 days. The system sends a review reminder around day 20 where no administrator decision has been made. Deletion is logged by application reference.
Where an application progresses to a casting session or production, relevant data may be retained for the duration of the agreement and for the applicable legal record-keeping period.
Your Rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent and objection under UK GDPR. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights.
You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your personal data has been handled.
